While it may not seem like it at the time of writing, it is officially autumn around here in VA. So while it may be over 80 degrees right now, my mind is on autumn food. For me, autumn means the return of slow cooked, warm, hearty dishes. That's right. Salad season is coming to an end. It's bulking season y'all. Last year, I wrote about putting the pumpkin back in pumpkin spice season, but this time we will be focusing on a different cold weather tradition: slow cooking.
